Recently three reels of a 1924 British movie “The White Shadow” which Alfred Hitchcock served as an assistant director, was uncovered in the New Zealand Film Archive.
This silent film “The White Shadow, is a melodrama directed by Graham Cutts is about twin sisters; where one is angelic and the other is soulless. Actress Betty Compson played both twins.
For those of you who are die-hard fans of the Master of Suspense, then quick rush over to US National Film Preservation Foundation’s website now.
It will only stream for free for the next two months.
