It’s the most wonderful time of the year again. It’s Christmas season.
Yes, huddling together in front of the warm fireplace, sparkling Christmas tree, heap of presents, colorful blinking lights, traditional Christmas carols and not forgetting Christmas movies.
In fact many of these Christmas movies are actually motivational movies or inspirational movies.
Among all those Christmas movies which have inspirational messages is definitely the film adaptation of Charles Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol“.
From the 1951 version to the latest Jim Carrey’s Scrooge. It is about the old grump Ebeneezer Scrooge on the one-night journey that changes his life and brings out the true Christmas spirit.
Another one of the many motivational movies for this jolly season is this classic black and white Christmas movie “It’s a Wonderful Life“.
A simple story of George Bailey, played by the late Jimmy Stewart, prominent and popular citizen of Bedford Falls, who is despondent over his loss of $8000 and contemplates suicide.
Then his guardian angel, Clarence (Henry Travers), who needs to save George in order “to get his wings,” shows him what the town would be like if he had never been born.
Below are my list of favorite classic Christmas movies or should I called motivational movies are:
* Miracle on 34th Street (1947/1994)
* A Christmas Story (1983)
* We Are No Angels(1955)
* Joyeux Noel (2005)
* National Lampoon’s Christmas vacation (1989)
* The Christmas Shoes (2002)
* Prancer (1989)
*The Polar Express (2004)
Hope you enjoy this list of motivations movies associated with Christmas season.
