Change Your Life Daily, Change Your Thinking

It is time to change your life daily. I am sure you have seen these book titles, “Change Your Thinking, Change Your life” by Brian Tracy, “Change Your Thoughts – Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao” by Dr Wayne or Augusto Cury’s “Think And Make It Happen”. And of course not forgetting that Napoleon Hill’s classic “Think And Grow Rich”.

"change your life daily, change your thinking"The keyword is THINK or THINKING.  It is your thinking or your thoughts which determine how you have ended up to be who you are now. Your thinking or thoughts directly control your actions. And that will determine what happens to you. To put it plainly, it is your thoughts that count.

“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” – Proverbs chapter 23 verse 7

Every action and feeling is preceded by a thought. Right thinking begins with the words we say to ourselves. As they say thoughts are things. Your thoughts control and determine almost everything that happens to you. They can can make you happy or pull in deep down into the abyss of despair, improve or disrupt your health, easily lull you into a relaxing slumber or keep you wide awake throughout the night.

Your thoughts can make you feel powerful or a total wreck, a success or a failure.

Now can you see the power of your thoughts? It is the very thing that trigger you to act.

The good thing is you can control your thoughts. You can decide your course of actions. You can decide to do or not to do. In short, you can change your life.

Following closely with your thoughts are elements like: feelings, desires, attitudes, hopes, fears, ambitions, images and doubts. Basically our life is a mixture of all these elements. When you think of something, an image forms in your mind together with emotions or feelings. These will affect your attitude and actions. Your action taken will decide what happens to you.

If your action is appropriate or acceptable, then probably you have a positive or pleasant result. For instance if you thinking about being successful, then you feel excited and confidence. You will performance better in order to be successful as planned.

Attitude is a mental position relative to a way of thinking or being. Your attitude is based on your past experiences or social learning from your environment, together with your own way about how things are supposed to be.

Whatever you do (your actions) will trigger emotions or feelings and attitude together. As I have mentioned you can control your thoughts. But you have no direct control over your feelings and attitude. So what you do is, you act your way into the feelings in the manner consistent with your action. So if you act or think as if you are already happy and successful, you will feel it inside. You give those “positiveness” into your attitude and feelings.

If you change your thinking, you will change how you feel (feelings and attitudes). Ultimately you have the capacity to take complete control over your life.

I remember there is this Internet radio commercial which says something along this line: “Do you know the secret how some people become millionaires? The secret is they decided to be millionaires.” Yes, they made up their mind or decided to be wealthy. Successful people choose to think differently. So, if you want to change your life daily starting today, change your thinking right away.

The author of “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”  T. Harv Eker says the same thing too.  He believes thoughts lead to feelings, which lead to actions, which lead to results, and hence the key to attaining great wealth begins with thinking, like rich people do.

Firstly you need you need to make a decision. You must decide that you want to change for a better in life. The next thing is your willpower. This is the difficult part. My suggestion of overcoming willpower is by focusing on small steps. Don’t get overwhelmed or you will just put it off.
